How shared ownership works

You own your home. We steward the land together.

Residents have access to their own homes while being co-owners of something much greater. The land is held whole and stewarded in common. Each household keeps its own front door. The forest, the water, and the gathering places belong to everyone.

Some details of the legal structure are still being shaped. When you ask us about them, we'll tell you what is settled and what is still in motion.

Thousands of trees saved

Because roads, water, electricity and services are shared instead of duplicated lot by lot, the village needs far less earthwork and tree cutting. The forest stays standing.

The land

One watershed, one forest, one village — held whole

Finding alignment

A village and its people find each other

Becoming a resident at Amora begins with getting to know each other. We meet, you join the gatherings, and together we feel whether the fit is real. Alignment runs in both directions.

Living here asks for participation: weekly forums, sharing your gifts, and the inner work that community asks of everyone.

This is the part that turns land into a village.
